Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, and within the framework of fostering social responsibility by instilling human values inspired by the cause of Imam Al-Hussain (peace be upon him), the College organized a field initiative to serve the pilgrims of Imam Al-Hussain (peace be upon him). The initiative was supervised by the Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Adel Hussein Talib, and the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Yusra Abdul Sahib Saif Al-Din, with the participation of a group of the College’s staff members.
The initiative involved the active field participation of the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs alongside a volunteer team from the College staff in serving the honorable pilgrims by providing them with water and juices—an act that embodies the spirit of love and brotherhood and reflects the noble values in serving the Hussaini cause.
This participation reflects the College’s keenness to contribute effectively to religious occasions and emphasizes the significance of such blessed acts, which stem from sincere devotion and promote the spirit of cooperation, benevolence, and peace during the blessed Arbaeen pilgrimage.
