Dr. Rasha Majid Abdul Ameer, a faculty member in the Department of Biology at the College of Science for Women, University of Baghdad, has been awarded the International Innovation Medal. This recognition follows an official invitation extended to her by the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad to participate in the Sixth International Scientific Conference, held in collaboration with Al-Farahidi University.
The award was granted in recognition of her distinguished participation with a patented innovation during a conference that witnessed significant attendance from both local and international researchers and academics. The event featured the presentation of 27 patents, over 120 scientific research papers, and 14 scientific posters, all addressing the latest developments in molecular medicine, biotechnologies, and sustainable development.
This medal serves as a renewed testament to Dr. Rasha’s academic and research journey and highlights her ongoing efforts in supporting innovation and advancement, thereby contributing to the enhancement of scientific research’s role in serving society.
