The College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad took part in the ceremonial launch of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security (2025–2030), organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and in the presence of a number of academic and administrative figures.
This participation aligns with the Ministry’s strategic direction to strengthen the role of women in academic institutions and to enhance their involvement in peacebuilding and sustainable development. The event also included the recognition of a number of distinguished female faculty members and staff from various universities and educational institutions, in appreciation of their academic and administrative contributions.
Through its representatives, the College reaffirmed its commitment to implementing the pillars of the Third National Action Plan and supporting programs and initiatives that contribute to the empowerment of women and the expansion of their roles within the academic community and other relevant fields.
