Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Continuing Education Unit organized a workshop titled “Cybersecurity and Information Protection.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Safa Sami Abdul Jabbar, Head of the Qualification and Employment Unit.

The objective of the activity was to introduce the concept of cybersecurity, enhance cognitive awareness in this vital and important field, and expand understanding and knowledge in digital protection sciences.

The workshop highlighted the main challenges and threats facing institutions and individuals in today’s digital age. It also addressed modern techniques and methods in the fields of information protection and digital systems from the increasing threat of cyberattacks.

The importance of enhancing electronic protection capabilities at both individual and institutional levels was emphasized.

This workshop was organized as part of the ongoing efforts by the Continuing Education Unit to support education and training in advanced technical fields and to provide knowledge that keeps pace with the latest developments in the field of digital security.
