Under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Baha Ibrahim Insaf, President of the University of Baghdad, and a number of deans of colleges, lecturers, and students, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women , participated in the activities of the Quranic Council held under the slogan “The Month of Ramadan, the Spring of the Quran”, in the Hall of the Martyr Al-Hakim at the University of Baghdad.
The council aims to spread Quranic culture and enhance faith values during the holy month, as Mr. Abdul Salam Zain Al-Abidin presents Quranic lectures that address various topics related to contemplating the verses of the Holy Quran, and its impact on building character and enhancing moral values.
The session witnessed a wide attendance of academics and students, amidst a Ramadan spiritual atmosphere that reflects the importance of this gathering in enhancing intellectual and religious communication. The council’s activities are scheduled to continue until the tenth of the holy month of Ramadan, including Quranic lectures and discussion sessions that aim to shed light on the values derived from the Holy Book of God.
