Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women , Prof. Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Chemistry, organized a workshop entitled (Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency) presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Inaam Hussein Ali.
The workshop aimed to shed light on important topics related to renewable energy and the importance of improving energy efficiency in various fields. The latest trends and technologies used in this field were discussed and how to apply them locally and internationally, and to encourage the use of solar panels to generate electricity and reduce waste resulting from burning fossil fuels.
Such topics are an opportunity to exchange knowledge and raise awareness of energy issues that represent a major challenge in the current era. This workshop came within the framework of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, the seventh goal: clean and affordable energy
