Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Department of Chemistry, in collaboration with the Scientific Affairs Unit, organized a scientific workshop titled “Chemical Dyes and Their Types,” with the participation of several faculty members and researchers.
The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Sahar Sabeeh Hassan, Assistant Professor Dr. Shaima Rajab Aqer, and Assistant Professor Sura Khalil Ibrahim. During the workshop, they highlighted the types of chemical dyes, their components, and their importance in various industrial and scientific fields. The workshop also included a discussion on the inorganic compounds and oxides that are part of dye compositions, as well as an overview of the most notable uses and recommendations to ensure safe handling.
The workshop witnessed great interaction from the attendees, with many questions and inquiries raised, which contributed to enriching the discussion and enhancing scientific knowledge on this important topic.
