Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Samira Naji Kazem, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Life Sciences, organized a scientific workshop titled “Food and Mood,” presented by Dr. Sanaria Abbas Al-Alaq, Maysoun Hassan, and Dr. Imad Hamdi.

The workshop addressed the topic of healthy food and its impact on the body’s health, including the immune and nervous systems. It discussed how food affects cognition and learning, as well as improving feelings of comfort and relaxation. The workshop suggested several tips for body and nervous system health, such as consuming balanced and varied meals, avoiding processed foods, drinking water regularly, and choosing a balanced diet that regulates hormones and contributes to feelings of happiness.
