Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the College celebrated the qualification of two teams of female students from the Department of Computer Science for the next stage of NURAI 2026, following their successful completion of the university coordinators’ evaluation phase and their outstanding performance among the participating teams.
On this occasion, the Dean honored the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Dr. Mukhtar Mohammed; Dr. Safaa Sami; and Dr. Asmaa Abdul Hussein, in recognition of their efforts in leading and guiding the two teams. The qualifying students were also presented with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their outstanding performance during the evaluation phase and the high level of competence and advanced skills they demonstrated in the fields of artificial intelligence and modern technologies. This qualification represents a new achievement added to the College’s record of supporting scientific and innovative activities. It also reflects the advanced academic level of its students and the College’s commitment to providing an educational environment that encourages creativity and excellence.
The College Deanship emphasized the importance of participating in scientific and technological competitions, given their significant role in developing students’ skills and refining their capabilities. Such participation contributes to preparing qualified graduates who are capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence.
