Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, the Human Rights Unit, in collaboration with the Special Needs Unit, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Hybrid Learning: Real-World Interaction and Digital Platforms.” The workshop was presented by Ms. Huda Talib Nasser, Ms. Hiba Ali Kareem, and Ms. Zainab Hamed Murtadha.
The workshop explored the concept of hybrid learning as an educational model that integrates face-to-face instruction with online learning. It highlighted the significance of this approach in enhancing interaction between students and faculty members by combining traditional teaching methods with modern digital platforms.
The presenters also reviewed the principal tools and technologies employed in hybrid learning and discussed their role in creating a flexible educational environment that accommodates individual learning needs, particularly those of students with special needs. This integrated approach contributes to improving the quality of the teaching and learning process while expanding access to educational resources and knowledge.
In addition, the workshop addressed the challenges associated with implementing hybrid learning and examined strategies for overcoming them through effective planning and the thoughtful integration of modern educational technologies.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of developing the competencies of students and researchers in the field of hybrid learning, recognizing its vital role in supporting the educational process and enhancing the quality of academic outcomes.
