Faculty members, staff, and students of the College of Science for Women participated in the activities of the Ayn Al-Hayat Festival (Fourth Season), organized by the Al‑Qabas Foundation for Culture and Development on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Savior of Humanity, Imam Mahdi(may God hasten his noble reappearance). The festival was held in cooperation with the Holy Shrines and a number of reputable intellectual and religious institutions.
This participation reaffirmed the College’s commitment to engaging in cultural and intellectual activities aimed at enhancing religious awareness and consolidating lofty human values derived from the biography of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). The festival featured a comprehensive program that included intellectual and cultural segments, awareness-raising lectures, devotional chanting evenings, as well as dialogue sessions addressing the concept of positive anticipation and its role in community building and in fostering a culture of hope and righteous action.
Moreover, the participation contributed to strengthening a sense of belonging and authentic cultural identity among students and staff through active engagement with intellectual discussions and the exploration of themes that linked religious occasions to contemporary life. This aligns with the College’s mission to support activities with ethical and educational dimensions. The event concluded by emphasizing the importance of activating community participation in cultural and religious activities, given their significant impact on developing awareness, consolidating principles of reform and construction, and supporting the scientific and educational trajectory of academic institutions.
