The Dean of the College of Science for Women, Prof. Dr. Samira Naji Kazem, participated in the expanded meeting held by the Council of the University of Baghdad with the National Institutional Accreditation Evaluation Team. The meeting was chaired by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Baha Ibrahim Insaf, and attended by the vice presidents and deans of colleges, as part of ongoing efforts to follow up on the implementation of quality standards and institutional accreditation across all university formations.

The meeting included a review of the University of Baghdad’s future vision and the qualitative developments it has witnessed in infrastructure, the establishment of new colleges and academic departments, as well as a discussion of future projects aligned with higher education development plans and the state’s orientations toward enhancing the quality of educational outcomes. The University President emphasized the importance of adhering to approved institutional standards as the foundation for building an integrated university system that contributes to strengthening academic excellence and consolidating the university’s position at both local and international levels.

The participation of Prof. Dr. Samira Naji Kazem reflects the Deanship of the College of Science for Women’s commitment to keeping pace with institutional accreditation requirements and actively contributing to the university’s efforts to promote a culture of comprehensive quality and apply approved national standards. This, in turn, supports the development of the college’s academic and administrative performance and the achievement of its strategic goals.
