Scientific Recognition and a Distinguished Iraqi Achievement


The Dean of the College of Science for Women, Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim , honored Dr. Haidar Al-Ta’i, Head of the Department of Physics, along with his doctoral student, Farah Abd Al-Kafi, in appreciation of their outstanding scientific accomplishment.

Farah Abd Al-Kafi achieved a remarkable distinction by winning the 2025 L’Oréal–UNESCO For Women in Science Young Talents Award, representing a significant addition to Iraq’s record in research and scientific fields at the international level.
