The Media and Government Communication Division at the College of Science for Women – University of Baghdad organized an awareness activity as part of the Anti-Drug Week campaign. The activity involved the participation of the college’s students in writing notes containing purposeful and impactful messages that oppose the scourge of drugs and warn of their grave dangers to the individual, the family, and society. This scene reflected the high level of awareness and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by the students toward important social issues.
This initiative comes within the Division’s ongoing efforts to disseminate awareness messages and promote a culture of prevention among students, particularly concerning negative phenomena that infiltrate the university environment. These student contributions evolved into influential awareness messages directed at all who read them, urging adherence to positive behaviors and avoidance of anything harmful to human health and safety.
The activity received notable engagement from students and staff members, who expressed through their participation their support for every initiative that contributes to protecting the university community, reinforcing the values of awareness and collective responsibility, and working toward providing a safe, drug-free educational environment.
