Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, the Human Resources Division and the Audit and Control Division organized an introductory meeting entitled “The Mechanism of Implementing Health Insurance,” attended by faculty members and staff of the college.The meeting aimed to provide a detailed and comprehensive explanation of the procedures for activating health insurance for employees. It commenced with an introductory overview of the health insurance system and its objectives, which focus on providing comprehensive healthcare and improving the quality of medical services offered to employees in both governmental and non-governmental institutions.The discussion covered the necessary steps and procedures for activating health insurance, starting from employee registration in the system and the entry of personal and medical data, through to the issuance of health insurance cards and guidance on their use to access various medical services—whether in hospitals or health centers. Additionally, the session clarified the process of interacting with healthcare service providers, procedures for filing medical compensation claims, and the rights and responsibilities related to employee health insurance.The meeting also included interactive discussion sessions and addressed numerous questions to clarify the practical and operational aspects of the system. Emphasis was placed on the importance of health insurance as an effective tool for improving employees’ healthcare standards and ensuring the continuity of health services, thereby enhancing quality of life and positively impacting the work environment and overall productivity.
