Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women , Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, and within the framework of the ongoing interest in developing health and welfare services for female students at the University of Baghdad, Ms. Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students, Assistant Professor Dr. Yousra Abdul Sahib, made an inspection visit to the internal departments at the Al-Jadriya Complex, accompanied by the Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, Ms. Joan Khaled Hamoud, and a number of female college members.

This visit aimed to review the progress of work in the internal departments and the living conditions of the female students residing in them, as the delegation took a field tour of the various facilities of the internal departments, and met with the female students to listen to their needs and problems, which enhances direct communication between the administration and the students and contributes to improving the educational and living environment. Within the framework of this visit, a group of medical devices and supplies were provided that aim to improve the quality of health services in the internal departments.
The heads of the internal departments expressed their appreciation for this valuable initiative, stressing that this medical equipment will contribute significantly to improving the level of healthcare received by female students.
For her part, the Assistant Dean for Academic and Student Affairs stressed the importance of paying attention to the health and well-being of female students, noting that providing such medical supplies will contribute to creating a better educational and healthy environment. She also stressed the need to continue such initiatives that reflect the university’s commitment to caring for the level of comfort and general health of female students, which contributes to enhancing their ability to focus on their studies and achieve their academic success.
The visit concluded with thanking all those in charge of the internal departments and the members who contributed to the success of this initiative, stressing the importance of continuous communication to meet their needs and provide an ideal environment for study, excellence and perseverance, in addition to providing safe housing and accommodation.
