The workshop also examined Binaural Beats technology and the evolution of its use, in addition to discussing the role of music and sound effects in influencing brain activity and the associated changes in the secretion of certain hormones. Furthermore, it highlighted several factors that may intensify the effects of audio content, including the use of headphones, isolation, dim lighting, and prolonged exposure.
The workshop shed light on digital drugs and their relationship with social media platforms, particularly with regard to musical content characterized by repetitive rhythms and the potential effects of such content on children and adolescents. It emphasized the importance of raising awareness of the risks associated with the unsafe consumption of digital content.
The workshop concluded by stressing the need to promote awareness of the potential risks of digital drugs and encourage the conscious and responsible use of the internet and digital technologies, thereby contributing to the protection of all members of society, particularly young people.
