In the presence of the esteemed Dean of the College of Science for Women, Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim , the proceedings of the Fourth Periodic International Conference on Information and Science commenced on Wednesday morning, December 17, 2025, at the Anbar International Hotel in the city of Ramadi. The conference was organized by the University of Fallujah with the participation of a distinguished group of academics and researchers from within Iraq and abroad.
The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision of the President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad. It was attended by the representative of the Minister, the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Adnan Al-Jumaili, in addition to a number of university presidents, college deans, faculty members, and specialized researchers.
The conference activities included honoring the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Dr. Samira Naji Kazem, along with several faculty members of the college, in recognition of their scientific and academic efforts and their effective contributions to the success of the conference. This recognition also acknowledged their role in supporting the advancement of scientific research and strengthening the distinguished academic presence of educational institutions.
The conference sessions addressed the latest trends and scientific applications in the fields of information and science, emphasizing the importance of scientific research in keeping pace with knowledge developments and supporting pathways to sustainable development, thereby enhancing the standing of Iraqi universities in regional and international academic forums.
