Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim , a group of staff members from the College of Science for Women / Department of Biology, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Salah Khairy Jabr, conducted a field visit to Sabta Primary School for Boys. During the visit, they distributed a number of school bags and stationery supplies to the students, in an atmosphere characterized by warmth and a spirit of humanitarian volunteerism.
This visit comes as part of a series of community-engagement activities that the Department of Biology is committed to implementing on a continuous basis. It aims to strengthen communication between the College and educational institutions, embody the principles of volunteer work adopted by the College, and contribute to supporting students from various backgrounds, encouraging them to pursue their academic studies in a motivating and positive environment.
The staff members affirmed that this initiative represents one among many efforts through which the College seeks to reinforce concepts of cooperation and social responsibility, and to promote a culture of giving among both students and faculty members.
For its part, the administration of Sabta Primary School expressed its gratitude and appreciation for this generous gesture, which had a significant impact on the students.
