The Dean of the College of Science for Women, Prof. Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, conducted an extensive inspection tour covering a number of administrative and scientific divisions and units within the College. She was accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Nadia Mohammed Jawad. The tour was conducted as part of the College Deanship’s commitment to continuous field-based monitoring and to enhancing the quality of institutional performance.
During the tour, the Dean reviewed the daily workflow within the various divisions and units, the level of administrative discipline, and the nature of the services provided. She also assessed the extent of compliance with approved university regulations and directives, in line with the guidance of the University Presidency to enhance the standards of academic and administrative performance.
The Dean further listened to detailed briefings from the heads of the divisions and units regarding established work mechanisms, their actual operational needs, and the major challenges that may hinder the smooth implementation of their duties. Emphasis was placed on the need to promptly address obstacles and adopt appropriate measures to develop the working environment and improve the quality of services provided.
During the tour, the Dean emphasized the importance of working in a spirit of teamwork and strengthening coordination among the various administrative and scientific units, thereby contributing to improving institutional efficiency and achieving the College’s strategic objectives. She also stressed the importance of keeping pace with administrative and technological developments, streamlining procedures, and enhancing the level of services provided to students and College staff in a manner that reflects the professional and progressive image of the educational institution.
The tour concluded with an emphasis on continuing regular inspection visits and directly monitoring the implementation of recommendations, thereby enhancing work efficiency and achieving the highest standards of quality in the performance of the College’s departments, divisions, and units.
