Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College of Science for Women – University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim , the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Science for Women, in cooperation with the Department of Physics, organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled “Prompt Engineering for Developing Precise and Effective Instructions in Intelligent Models.” The event was attended by a number of faculty members and students.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Nasreen Khalil Abdulameer and Ms. Zainab Hussam Mousa. It addressed the fundamental concepts of prompt engineering and its importance in interacting with intelligent systems and artificial intelligence, in addition to methods for formulating clear and accurate commands to obtain optimal and highly effective outputs.

The workshop also discussed the rapid advancements in the field of artificial intelligence and the user’s role in guiding models through well-designed instructions. It emphasized that crafting effective prompts has become an essential skill in the digital age due to its direct impact on research, analysis, creativity, and problem-solving outcomes.

The program included practical examples and hands-on exercises aimed at enhancing participants’ skills in writing professional prompts, along with discussing common mistakes users make and how to avoid them to achieve maximum benefit from AI tools in academic and research contexts.

In conclusion, the workshop underscored the importance of keeping pace with modern technological developments and strengthening digital literacy among students and faculty members, as it constitutes a fundamental pillar for the future of education and scientific research amid rapid digital transformations.
