Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Science for Girls, Prof. Dr. Samira Naji Kazim, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Yousra Abdel Saheb, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adel Hussein Talib, and within the framework of preserving the university environment and in an important step towards achieving the goals of sustainable development to preserve the environment, the College of Science for Girls organized a campaign of afforestation and planting of the college’s gardens with the participation of professors, affiliates and students of the college, This initiative came in conjunction with the National Afforestation Day and within a series of campaigns carried out by the college periodically to increase green spaces and pay attention to the aesthetics of the college’s gardens and preserve them, and the campaign included planting nearly 200 seedlings and trees distributed over the college’s gardens such as citrus citrus, olives, Egyptian acacia, the coast tree, baby rose, and climbing roses, to create a healthy environment suitable for study and encourage students to perseverance and to achieve success and excellence.
