Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, the Women’s Affairs Unit organized a workshop entitled “PowerPoint Presentation Preparation,” presented by Dr. Tasneem Hassan Mahmoud and Ms. Manal Dawood Jassim.
The workshop introduced the PowerPoint application and highlighted its importance in preparing presentations. It also explored the key tools and features offered by the program for organizing and presenting information in a clear and engaging manner.
Furthermore, the workshop addressed the fundamental principles of presentation design, including selecting appropriate templates and layouts, organizing content, and incorporating text, images, and illustrative elements to ensure more effective communication of information.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of enhancing female faculty members’ digital skills and making effective use of modern technologies in preparing academic and educational presentations, thereby contributing to improving the quality of the educational process and strengthening academic communication.
