A scientific workshop organized by the Department of Physics, under the sponsorship of Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women. The workshop, titled “Medical Imaging for MRI, X-rays, and CT Scans,” was held in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit. The workshop was led by Prof. Dr. Aliya Hussein Ali and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doser Hussein Gaib.
The workshop aims to provide advanced scientific content on various medical imaging techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), X-rays, and computed tomography (CT), focusing on the role of these techniques in diagnosing different diseases and developing more accurate and effective treatment methods. It also addresses the latest innovations and technologies used in this field and how to enhance diagnostic performance through modern devices and innovations that could make a difference in future medical practices. Additionally, the workshop aims to train participants on how to use these tools more effectively and develop their skills in understanding and analyzing medical images.
