Under the patronage of Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Continuing Education Unit organized an awareness workshop titled “Time Management Skills,” presented by Dr. Asmaa Mahdi Saleh and Dr. Bessad Maher Mohail.
The workshop aimed to highlight the essential life skills needed by individuals in various aspects of their lives to enhance their abilities effectively. Among the most prominent of these skills is time management and organization. Strategies for prioritizing tasks and activities according to their importance were presented, as well as the use of schedules to balance work and rest. The workshop also discussed the reasons behind time-wasting and ways to avoid it, in addition to providing solutions to overcome issues such as laziness, excessive sleep, procrastination, and the overuse of smartphones and social media.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that time management skills are essential in the current age, as they contribute to increased productivity, reduced stress, and the achievement of personal success and happiness.
