Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, the Department of Chemistry, in collaboration with the Scientific Affairs Unit, organized a specialized scientific workshop titled “Modern Techniques in Diagnosing Inorganic Compounds.” The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Sahar Sabeih Hassan, Assoc. Prof. Shaimaa Rajab Abqar, and Chemist Mona Samir.
The workshop aimed to highlight the latest scientific methods and techniques used in the analysis and diagnosis of inorganic compounds, with a focus on a deep understanding of spectroscopic and microscopic analysis methods. The workshop also provided a detailed explanation of a range of advanced techniques, including UV-Vis Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).
This workshop is part of a series of scientific events that the College of Science for Women regularly organizes to enhance the academic and practical knowledge of its members.
