A workshop was held by the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at our college, under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Sciences for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Kahdim. The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a workshop titled “Promoting Integrity and Transparency Values among University Students.” It was presented by the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Yousra Abd Al-Sahib Saif Al-Din, on Tuesday, October 8, in the conference hall. Several faculty members and students from various departments attended.
During the workshop, Dr. Yousra explained the concept of integrity as loyalty in work, avoiding bias, safeguarding public property, and respecting laws and regulations. She described transparency as clarity, an essential factor in institutions through the dissemination of information for review without ambiguity. The lecturer elaborated on indicators of the presence of integrity and transparency in institutions, along with the concept of combating corruption to protect society. She also discussed how researchers can avoid plagiarism
