In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science for Girls at the University of Baghdad began distributing a set of Ramadan baskets to a group of college employees and workers in the field of providing services to the college.
During the delivery of these Ramadan food baskets, the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Prof. Dr. Saadia Ahmed Taher, confirmed that the Department of Chemistry works annually and during the blessed month of Ramadan with the principle of social solidarity and a sense of human and moral responsibility brought by our Islamic religion towards the needy and helping them, as the food baskets were distributed to a number of service workers in the college provided by professors and employees of the department.
This initiative comes as an extension of the humanitarian initiatives carried out by the college to support needy families, as the Deanship of the College is keen to continue to extend a helping hand to the needy believing in the need to strengthen social ties and a sense of responsibility towards them.
