Under the patronage of Dr. Sameera Naji Kadim, the Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department, in collaboration with the Accreditation Department, organized a workshop entitled “Academic Accreditation.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Lama Hassan Alwan, the Accreditation Department Head at the University of Baghdad, on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the conference hall.
The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with the concept of international academic accreditation, which is recognition granted to educational institutions by an official body indicating that the institution has met the minimum required standards. It also aimed to explain the procedures, steps, and necessary stages for obtaining academic accreditation, highlighting its criteria and requirements, which include various aspects to meet the requirements of international academic accreditation.
