The College of Science for Women’s Journal came in first place at the annual celebration of Iraqi Science Day, held at the University of Baghdad and attended by various university officials, including the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Na’im Al-Aboudi, and the University of Baghdad’s President, Professor Munir Hameed Al-Saadi. Moreover, the event was joined by deans and directors of different research and scientific centres. Baghdad Journal of Science was awarded the Excellence Shield and a certificate of appreciation for the 2021/2022 academic year. Professor Yusra Abdul Sahib, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, accepted the recognition on behalf of the journal. Worth noting is the journal’s presence in prestigious international databases, including Scopus and Clarivate, and its Q2 ranking. The journal’s staff, including the Editor-in-Chief, Professor Fikrat Majid Hassan, and the supporting team, have made significant efforts to increase the number of citations for the published research. As a result, there has been a notable increase in the volume of citations.
