The College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad participated in the 66th Al-Aqsa Flood Course’s central graduation ceremony on November 25th, 2023. The event was held at the gardens of the College of Physical Education, and was organized by the Presidency of the University of Baghdad. Attendees included Iraqi political figures, college deans, research center directors, and professors from various Iraqi universities.

The ceremony commenced with the playing of the Iraqi national anthem and recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a display from the military college. This was proceeded by the bearers of the flags of Iraq and Palestine, and the University of Baghdad emblem. Furthermore, the graduates from all colleges were presented during the ceremony.

The Dean of the Women’s College of Science, Prof. Dr. Samira Naji Kazem, attended the ceremony with Prof. Dr. Yusra Abdul-Sahib, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Adel Hussein Talib, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs. The department heads, faculty and staff of the college were also in attendance. The dean of the College of Science for Women sends congratulations and best wishes to all University of Baghdad graduates, particularly those from the College of Science for Women. Success in future endeavors is wished to everyone.
