Under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and the President of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, and under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Dr. Samira Naji Kazim, the college commenced the proceedings of the Global Entrepreneurship Week today in the intelligent hall of the Computer Science Department at the College of Science for Women, University of Baghdad.
The event commenced with a range of educational and scientific workshops delivered by the college’s faculty and professors. Heads of departments, teaching staff, and students attended the session. Furthermore, a unique bazaar was set up at the venue to showcase students’ handmade products. The products included artwork, home décor, printing, woodwork, embroidery, perfumes, candles, and gifts for different occasions. This initiative aligns with the main objective of Global Entrepreneurship Week – generating innovative entrepreneurial ideas and raising awareness regarding the key challenges faced by entrepreneurs and how to overcome them. It aims to identify effective ways of managing emerging projects, fostering a culture of teamwork, and promoting the values of cooperation and perseverance.
