The discussion committee, headed by the assistant dean for scientific affairs Asst. Prof. Yusra Abdul-Sahib and a number of faculty staff from different departments, began discussing the students in the presence of the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Samira Naji Kadhim, a number of heads of departments and faculty.
The committee discussed the distinguished papers from every department, where each department chose the best research paper to compete with other departments of the college. The students were thoroughly discussed in both the theoretical and practical parts of their papers and were allowed to debate and defend their works. At the end of the discussions, the dean of the college honored the participating students and their supervisors with a certificate of appreciation for their efforts in contributing to the scientific process.
