Prof. Dr. Yusra Abdul-Sahib, Director of the Postgraduate Studies Department at the University of Baghdad, conducted an inspection visit to the Postgraduate Studies Division at the College of Science for Women, accompanied by Assist. Prof. Dr. Nadia Mohammed, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs. The visit aimed to review the progress of postgraduate application procedures and the mechanisms adopted for verifying applicants’ files.
The visit included following up on the activities of the Postgraduate Studies Division and reviewing the procedures adopted for receiving applications and verifying the supporting documents and credentials submitted by applicants. It also involved monitoring the efficiency of workflow and the level of coordination between the Division and the Scientific Departments to ensure that applicants’ transactions are processed in accordance with the applicable regulations and official instructions.
During the visit, Dr. Yusra emphasized the importance of adhering to the regulations and guidelines governing postgraduate applications and stressed the need for accuracy in verifying applicants’ files and data in order to uphold the principles of fairness and transparency throughout the admission process.
For her part, Dr. Nadia commended the efforts of the staff of the Postgraduate Studies Division in completing verification procedures and following up on applicants’ applications. She affirmed the College Deanship’s commitment to providing the necessary support to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of applications and their completion with the required level of accuracy and timeliness.
