The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hassan Atiya, conducted a field inspection visit to the College of Science for Women to review the progress of the examination process. He was received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim.
The visit was attended by the College’s Associate Deans and Heads of the Scientific Departments.
During his tour of the College’s facilities and examination halls, the University President reviewed the mechanisms adopted for organizing the examinations and assessed the smoothness of their administration. He also examined the level of services provided and the preparations made to ensure an appropriate examination environment, enabling female students to undertake their examinations in a calm, orderly, and reassuring atmosphere.
The University President commended the substantial efforts exerted by the College Deanship, represented by the Dean, as well as the teaching and administrative staff, in ensuring effective organization and a high level of discipline. He emphasized that the conditions observed at the College reflect an advanced level of academic and administrative performance.
The visit also included an assessment of the College’s infrastructure and services, as well as a review of its most significant needs that could contribute to further developing and enhancing the educational environment in accordance with the requirements of higher education.
For her part, the Dean of the College affirmed her commitment to providing a comprehensive examination environment and ensuring the availability of all necessary requirements for the smooth and efficient administration of examinations. She emphasized that these efforts contribute to enhancing academic standards and supporting the University’s aspirations.
At the conclusion of the visit, the University President stressed the importance of sustaining the efforts made to maintain the College’s distinguished standards. He also commended the spirit of cooperation and institutional teamwork demonstrated by the College.
