Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Evaluation Division at the College, organized a professional development workshop entitled “How to Choose a Graduation Project in the Era of Artificial Intelligence Applications.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Nagham Musa Ni‘ma and attended by a number of female students from the College.
The workshop aimed to empower students to select distinctive graduation projects that align with recent developments in the field of artificial intelligence, by explaining the scientific criteria for selecting a project topic and emphasizing the importance of ensuring its relevance to the student’s academic specialization and the requirements of the labor market.
The workshop also examined the role of artificial intelligence tools in supporting scientific research, generating ideas, analyzing data, and facilitating the completion of projects with greater efficiency and accuracy. The lecturer discussed how intelligent applications can be utilized to identify research problems, formulate hypotheses, and develop theoretical frameworks, in addition to addressing the ethical considerations associated with the use of these technologies.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of selecting an innovative and feasible graduation project that contributes to developing students’ research and technological skills and keeps pace with the accelerating digital transformation. Such projects can enhance the quality of academic outcomes and strengthen students’ prospects for academic and professional success.
