Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, the Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the relevant scientific bodies, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Enhancing Scientific Research through Artificial Intelligence: Analysis and Exploration.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Sabah Nouri, Dr. Alaa Nizar Abdul Ghafour, and Assistant Professor Mona Mahdi.

The workshop examined the importance of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into scientific research by utilizing advanced tools for data analysis and the exploration of research findings with greater accuracy and efficiency. It also highlighted the role of AI in facilitating access to scientific information, organizing scholarly references, and enhancing the quality of academic studies and research.

Furthermore, the presenters reviewed prominent contemporary applications of artificial intelligence across various scientific disciplines and discussed practical approaches to leveraging these technologies for developing researchers’ skills and improving the efficiency of research activities within academic institutions.

The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of equipping students and researchers with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively utilize artificial intelligence technologies, recognizing their significant contribution to advancing scientific research and improving the quality of academic studies.
