The College of Science for Women celebrated a distinguished graduation ceremony for its fourth-year students under the theme “Integrity is Victory.” The event was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, and was organized by the University Psychological Counseling Unit and the Special Needs Unit, in coordination with the Subul Al-Istiqama Foundation. The ceremony was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students, Assistant Professor Dr. Nadia Mohammed Jawad, along with a number of faculty members and students of the College.

The graduation ceremony featured a variety of meaningful activities that highlighted the significance of this milestone in the students’ academic and personal lives. The event commenced with the formal entrance of the graduating students to the accompaniment of the Iraqi national anthem, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an and the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah in honor of the souls of Iraq’s martyrs.

The program also included an educational and motivational lecture addressing the challenges and opportunities awaiting graduates after university. The lecture provided practical guidance and valuable advice aimed at helping students build successful professional careers, strengthen their self-confidence, and prepare for the transition to the labor market.

As part of the ceremony, the graduating students were honored with graduation certificates and commemorative gifts in recognition of their dedication, perseverance, and achievements throughout their years of study. The event concluded with the graduates taking a ceremonial oath, symbolizing their sense of responsibility, professional commitment, and readiness to embark on a new stage of service, achievement, and success.
