The Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, attended the activities of the Fourth Scientific Charity Exhibition, organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad. The event was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul-Majeed, as well as a number of faculty members, students, and interested participants.

During her tour of the exhibition, the Dean reviewed a range of scientific projects and student innovations on display, which reflected the advanced scientific knowledge and practical skills of the department’s students. The exhibited projects also highlighted the applied aspects of various engineering disciplines and demonstrated students’ capacity for innovation and problem-solving.

The Dean commended the efforts invested in organizing this scientific event, emphasizing the importance of supporting student talents and encouraging initiatives that contribute to the advancement of scientific research and voluntary work. She noted that such activities are aligned with the University of Baghdad’s vision of fostering openness and strengthening collaboration with various institutions.

The organization of this exhibition also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, by promoting innovation, scientific excellence, and community engagement among students.
