The Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, accompanied by the Assistant Deans, received the ministerial committee responsible for evaluating the scientific and academic status of the Colleges of Science at the University of Baghdad. The committee consisted of Dr. Jaafar Fadhel Oudah, Dr. Bashar Talib Hameed, and Dr. Mundhir Hamza Radhi. The visit aimed to review the indicators of the evaluation form and verify the supporting evidence and documentation.
The Dean welcomed the visiting committee and emphasized the College’s commitment to implementing quality assurance standards and academic accreditation requirements, as well as its continuous efforts to enhance scientific and research performance in alignment with the objectives of higher education development.
The committee commenced its work in the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, in the presence of the heads of the scientific departments and members of the central committee. During the meeting, the committee reviewed the documents and evidence related to the evaluation criteria and discussed the adopted indicators and the mechanisms employed to achieve them.
The visit also included a field tour of the scientific departments, during which the committee examined the available facilities and observed the progress of the educational process. The committee commended the high level of organization and cooperation demonstrated by the College’s administration and staff.
The visit concluded with an emphasis on the importance of continuing efforts to enhance academic performance and improve the quality of education, thereby supporting scientific research and advancing the quality of the College’s educational and research outcomes.
