A workshop entitled “An Introduction to the Professor Application within the Bologna Process” was organized by the Continuing Education Unit in collaboration with the Department of Biology, under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim. The workshop was presented by Dr. Shaimaa Ismail Kazem and Dr. Zainab Imran Salman. It was held in Abdul Hakim Hall and attended by a number of faculty members and staff.

The workshop aimed to highlight the Professor Application as one of the digital tools adopted including the Bologna Process framework, and to explain its mechanism of use in managing the educational process and accurately documenting student data in an organized manner. Through this application, it is possible to add essential student information for each course, record grades for daily, monthly, and final examinations, continuously track attendance and absences, update academic evaluation data according to the credit-hour system, monitor student performance, and generate detailed reports on their academic progress.

The application provides a user-friendly interface that enables instructors to operate it without complexity, while ensuring secure and precise data storage. It constitutes an essential component of the digital transformation in education, particularly within the Bologna Process, which emphasizes transparency and accuracy in student assessment. Among its most significant advantages are saving time and effort in managing traditional paper records and facilitating the of academic performance.

The workshop also included several discussions and participant contributions, which were addressed and clarified by the organizers of the activity.
