Under the patronage of the respected Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khidm, the Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the relevant department, organized a training course entitled “Practical Training on Selected Therapeutic and Cosmetic Devices.” The course was presented by Dr. Samara Jassim Mohammed, Dr. Noor Yaasoub Abdul Khudhair, and Dr. Maisaa Rabea Naeema.
The course aimed to familiarize participants with the most important devices used in therapeutic and cosmetic fields, as well as their operating mechanisms in accordance with modern scientific principles. It also addressed their practical applications in improving skin health and treating certain dermatological conditions.
Furthermore, the course provided a detailed explanation of the safe use of these devices, highlighting the key standards and guidelines necessary to ensure optimal results. It also explored the latest technologies employed in this field and their role in advancing therapeutic and cosmetic services.
The course concluded by emphasizing the importance of developing participants’ practical skills in handling therapeutic and cosmetic devices, thereby enhancing their scientific and professional competencies, keeping pace with recent advancements in the field, and improving the quality of performance in health and cosmetic applications.
