The College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad discussed a master’s thesis (Bayesian Estimates of the Parameters of Exponential-Rayleigh Distribution) by a student (Maral Mohammed Bakteh).

In this letter introduced the Bayesian method of estimating parameters for the Exponential-Rayleigh Distribution.

The thesis’ primary goal is to determine two parameter estimates for the Exponential-Rayleigh distribution by using the three Bayesian estimation which are (Standard Bayesian estimation method, Bayes Estimators with Lindley approximation and Bayes Estimators with Tierney and kadans approximation. It was obtained estimators for the two parameters (scale parameter) for Exponential-Rayleigh distribution. It used the simulation to generate random variables for the default values of two parameters with different samples sample iterations (N=1000) with different beginning values of the parameter and sample sizes (n=10, 20, 30, 50, 100) and the values  comes from system for MATLAB.

Using other methods other than these three methods that were used in chapter three (Standard Bayesian estimating method, Lindley Approximation Bayesian estimation method, Tierney and kadane Approximation Bayesian Estimation method, such as ( Jeffery and Shrinkage Method) method for every method.
