The Department of Computer Science is the newest department in the College of Science for Girls, and despite that, it enjoys an important scientific reputation among the departments of the college and the corresponding departments in the Colleges of Science, Computer and Information Technology.
The department perseveres in updating the scientific curricula in accordance with the rapid developments in this vital specialization and is keen to develop materials that keep pace with the revolution of the age in the field of computing and information technology.
The department grants a bachelor’s degree in computer science after the students fulfill all the necessary requirements of theoretical and scientific lessons and scientific projects that qualify them to work as programmers in various state institutions and the private sector.
