The College of Science for Women is one of the formations of the University of Baghdad, and it is a relatively new college compared to the colleges in the ancient universities of Iraq, where it was established in 2003 AD. (Department of Life Sciences, Department of Chemistry, Department of Computer Science, Department of Physics, Department of Mathematics) Its buildings are of a diverse engineering and technological nature.
The main headquarters of the college is located on the site of the mother university in the Al-Jadriya area. The main headquarters of the college enjoys the presence of many services and facilities for female students. These services include the internal cafeteria shared with the College of Education for Women and student sports activity halls for female students, as well as containing the scientific library inside the building in addition to containing many green gardens. Which gives a special luster to the college, increasing the green spaces, and taking care of the aesthetics of the college’s gardens. The college also has a number of scientific laboratories for all its departments and in the college’s buildings with a distinctive architectural style.
