Research Ethics
In order to promote research ethics and ensure compliance with ethical standards in scientific research, the College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad has established a Research Ethics Committee. This committee aims to raise awareness of research ethics and enhance the quality of scientific research within the college.

To ensure compliance with these standards, the following must be observed:
- Respect the rights of living beings and minimize risks.
- Obtain informed consent from all research participants.
- Complete the forms specific to the type of living organism used in the research.
- Submit applications via the committee’s email or through the Head of Department after approval of the research plan by the Scientific Committee.
Completing these forms contributes to enhancing transparency and accountability in scientific research. Below are the Committee’s Goal, Vision, and Mission:
Goal: Protecting the rights and welfare of living beings: Ensuring that research is conducted in a manner that respects the rights and welfare of animals, plants, and humans.
Vision: To be pioneers in promoting scientific ethics in research involving animals, plants, and humans.
