Under the patronage of Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, held an educational workshop titled “Women and the Family: Building a Sustainable Future.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Shaimaa Saleh Mehdi, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, and Dr. Sulaf Abdul Khader.

The workshop aimed to emphasize the central role of women and the family as the foundation of society, forming the cornerstone for building a sustainable community. It highlighted that empowering women and supporting families are key factors in achieving sustainable development. This can be accomplished by enhancing the role of women in economic, social, educational, and political fields, achieving a balance between professional and personal life, and promoting family stability through policies that ensure justice and equality, ultimately building sustainable communities capable of facing future challenges.
