Under the sponsorship of Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Chemistry Sciences, held a scientific course titled “Chemical Safety and Security for Graduate Students in the Research Phase.” The course was presented by Prof. Dr. Nasser Dheyaa Shaalan. The course aimed to educate graduate students about the dangers of using chemical and biological substances in laboratories, ensuring safety and security while handling these materials, and increasing awareness about their proper use.
This course is held annually to enhance the skills of graduate students and to protect laboratory workers, with the primary goal of safeguarding laboratories and equipment from improper handling.
