Under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a ceremony was held to distribute the Science Day awards, with the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Professor Dr. Baha Ibrahim Insaf, President of the University of Baghdad, and several prominent academic figures.
The College of Science for Women participated in this distinguished event with an official delegation that included Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Yousra Abdul-Sahib Saif al-Din, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Fikrat Majid Hassan, Head of the Scientific Journal and Support Unit at the College.
The College of Science for Women stood out during the ceremony by achieving a significant accomplishment, as the Baghdad Science Journal, published by the college, won first place in Iraq in the field of scientific journals for pure sciences.
This achievement affirms the quality of scientific research and academic production at the College of Science for Women and its prominent contribution to raising the name of the University of Baghdad both locally and internationally
