Professor Dr. Abbas Ali Saleh, a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science for Women, has been chosen as a member of the scientific committee for the Fourth Scientific Conference of the Chemistry Department, held at the University of Baghdad under the slogan “A Modern View of Technology in Chemistry.”
The Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Raad Faleh Hassan, awarded Dr. Abbas a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his scientific stature and significant role in the success of the conference, as well as his contribution to advancing scientific research and academic development at the university.
In another development, Dr. Abbas was invited by Times Higher Education magazine to participate in the Global Academic Reputation Survey for 2025, based on his distinguished record in research publication and his esteemed academic position.
It is noteworthy that academic reputation plays a pivotal role in guiding the choices of researchers and students worldwide, making this invitation an international acknowledgment of the scientific achievements of the University of Baghdad and its academic staff.
